This is one of the more photogenic streets in Freiburg and it is intriguingly named Konviktstraße.

Jacob Burckhardt, a Swiss historian, said that the bell tower of the Freiburg Münster “will forever remain the most beautiful spire on earth”.

It is really impressive, but I’ll let you decide if it’s the most beautiful. It’s a little difficult to just because the bell tower is being restored.

A better view of the spire can be seen on my photography site but the top is still shrouded in scaffolding.

A little bit of Black Forest graffiti. The Bollenhut is a traditional women’s hat around here. Not seen very often, only at festivals.

Freiburg is a beautiful place. This photo was taken just south of here, close to Britzingen. It’s the view I had on the way home on the way from playing hockey a few weeks ago. Taken with Click! App, processed with iPhoto.
