We went go karting yesterday. I haven’t done that in years. It was hella fun. I didn’t post the fastest time, but I was only about a second off.

There are three or four different little Christmas markets in the old part of Freiburg and two of them have rides.

It would seem that, for the 16th, my girlfriend stuffed Santa into a bag.

Day 4. Some tiny Snickers bars.
I missed posting on day 3 but I got two certificates for Glühwein at the Christmas market and those somehow disappeared faster than I could photograph them ;-).

UPDATE: I won €1 so we broke even.
Day 1. Yesterday, my girlfriend gave me a string of little packages that is, I guess, a tradition here or at least a tradition in her family. Her mother makes one for her every year and even made and sent one to her when she was in Vancouver. So nice.
This morning I cracked open the first one and a Toblerone was inside. How very sweet of you, schatz.
